This book takes place over a ten year period. The book is sectioned by the passage of a year. It is set in reality but I felt that some of the events in this book were not that realistic. While this is marketed as a romance, I felt that the relationship between the hero and her best friend was in many ways, the predominant relationship.
The writing style was very readable and if you are looking for a clean read for the beach - that's what I'd recommend this book for. While this is called Christian Fiction, this was not mentioned in the book. I'd say that it was more billed that way as it was a clean read.
I got this book free for an honest review. This was an okay book and I kept reading to find out what happened. I guess I just didn't feel invested enough in the characters unfortunately - However, I do recommend giving it a go as you may see this differently from me.
