This is the third book in the Stargazer springs series. It can be read as a standalone but I am glad to have read the previous books as that gave me knowledge about the surrounding cast of characters.
One thing I really like about Remi Carrington's books is that she doesn't just focus on 20 year olds who are bemoaning their martial status. Ava (the heroine) is 50 in this book and has never been married. For those of us who didn't get married in their 20s, that's a bit more relatable and nice to see characters that didn't take the traditional path to their happy ever afters.
I got this book in exchange for a free honest review. I do recommend reading this (and the series). It's a chillaxing way of spending the afternoon and I can't wait for the next book in the series. It was great to see "old friends" in the pages of this book and catch up with their lives.
