If I am honest, I was ambivalent about reading a romance about people way older than I am. To my surprise, I enjoyed it. The themes of the characters were relatable to people of all ages, and the story was interesting.
The book is part of a series (Huckleberry Falls), but I can confirm it can be read as a standalone as I haven't read any of the previous books. This book was a nice clean read, and I'd recommend it, especially if you are older.
